About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Phoenix Company Deer Valley. As a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills, primarily Haas, in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Interpret and implement GD&T symbols to ensure accurate production of parts.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands to execute tasks.
  • Ensure CNC machines operate in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Oversee machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure quality standards.
  • Test machine operation periodically to guarantee smooth running.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Haas, and GD&T symbols.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong understanding of the machining process and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and maintenance capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
