We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Wickshire Senior Living Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our maintenance, housekeeping, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to ensure the maintenance, housekeeping, and security of our community
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and attractive living environment for our residents and guests
  • Collaborate with subordinate supervisors and staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of work assignments
  • Manage and oversee the maintenance and housekeeping budget, including salary expense, overtime, purchasing, and overall expense control
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Wickshire Senior Living Group policies and procedures
  • Participate in the leadership of our community's emergency preparedness programs and ensure the proper operation and availability of emergency equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, with at least 1 year of experience in a management role
  • Proficiency in a wide variety of general maintenance tasks, such as painting, basic carpentry, minor drywall repair, installation of assorted fixtures, and electrical and plumbing repairs that do not require a license
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to handle complex issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
