Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in post-acute care facilities
  • Follow and adhere to care plans for residents
  • Check vital signs and provide regular reports to the nursing team
  • Observe resident conditions and alert supervising staff to concerns or emergencies
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Perform tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
  • Communicate with residents, family members, and healthcare staff
  • Provide daily companionship and comfort to residents
  • Move residents safely and comfortably
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and medical terminology
  • Effective organization skills and communication with medical professionals and residents
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • A high level of attention to detail
