Job Summary:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist to provide patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Your responsibilities will include documenting treatments given, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the proper use of equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient treatments as directed by the Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Document treatments given and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the proper use of equipment and maintain a safe working environment
  • Work with patients of all ages, from children to geriatric patients, with clinical competency
  • Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant or equivalent
  • Active U.S. military service members or veterans with verified and credited education by an accredited OTA program
  • 1 year of experience in occupational therapy assistant or related field
  • Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by AOTA
