Occupational Therapy Assistant

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support our therapy team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Assist Registered Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop treatment goals.
- Provide direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote physical and cognitive function.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant or related field.
- Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
