Job Description
We seek an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our esteemed team at Duke University Hospital's Eye Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, ensuring exceptional outcomes and fostering a positive patient experience. Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, utilizing your expertise to promote optimal healing and recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate possesses:
  • A minimum of one year's experience as a registered nurse, preferably in inpatient or critical care settings.
  • Active registration with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.
  • BLS (or higher) certification required, with ACLS & PALS certification within six months of hire.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to think critically, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Work Environment
This full-time position offers a stable schedule with four, 9-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, rotating days off, and no weekends, nights, or holidays. The Eye Center features state-of-the-art facilities, including five operating rooms and one procedure room, catering to patients across various age groups.
