About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Developer to join our team at Hobart Service. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative training programs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop training projects using instructional design principles and models
  • Develop interactive and engaging instructional materials with assessments and simulations
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and use evaluation data to support continuous improvement
  • Consult with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify job tasks and knowledge/performance gaps
  • Recommend designs and develop creative learning solutions that include classroom training, eLearning, and blended learning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in media development and multimedia authoring/production
  • At least 2-4 years' experience in creating training programs for technical equipment maintenance and repair
  • Working knowledge of multimedia interactive authoring software, such as Captivate, Storyline, and Creative Suite
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video production/post-production
