As a Care Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to respond promptly to inquiries from our call center. You will play a crucial role in facilitating and coordinating the admissions process for individuals seeking treatment at our facilities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Access to reliable high-speed internet.
- A dedicated, private workspace suitable for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in the substance abuse or mental health sector.
- Experience in a call center environment.
- Familiarity with the treatment industry.
- Ability to connect with and empathize with patients and their families.
- Experience in a collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process incoming inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Evaluate potential patients' treatment requirements, identifying appropriate facilities and levels of care.
- Accurately document patient assessments in our system, ensuring timely and efficient data entry.
- Understand and assess patients' insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Determine viable treatment options based on patients' insurance coverage.
- Collect financial responsibilities from patients, including deductibles and copays.
- Coordinate with Pinnacle Treatment Centers to identify available beds and schedule admissions.
- Manage admissions schedules and arrange patient transportation as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with all staff members to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain focus on personal tasks while working cohesively with others.
- Adapt to new tasks and shifting priorities as needed.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to overcome obstacles.
- Exhibit meticulous documentation abilities.
- Showcase excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Motivate individuals seeking treatment.
- Possess accurate and efficient computer skills.
