We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Residential Counselor to join our EmPATH program at the McNabb Center. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals experiencing psychiatric crises.

About the Position

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with consumers, colleagues, and community partners. You will be responsible for assisting consumers in achieving their goals and promoting a culture of recovery and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized support and guidance to consumers to help them achieve their recovery goals.
  2. Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  3. Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment for consumers, including de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention.
  4. Document all interactions and progress made with consumers, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  5. Maintain a thorough knowledge of community resources and services to facilitate referrals and connections.
