Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Oak Orchard Health. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading our care team, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the care team in medical decision-making and provide supervision and collaboration to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and direct counseling for each patient, and prescribe medication in accordance with New York State statute and professional practice guidelines.
  • Generate referrals for patients requiring services outside the scope of direct primary care and participate in staff outreach and off-site healthcare programs.
  • Comply with Oak Orchard Health's Infection Control plan and participate in peer review, quality assurance projects, and departmental meetings.
Requirements:
  • MD or DO graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Current New York State medical license and DEA certificate.
  • Board eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate.
