Job Summary:

The Psychiatrist is a vital member of our team at Cambay Healthcare, responsible for delivering high-quality mental health care to our patients. As a skilled professional, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to diagnose, develop, and administer effective psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to address mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating psychological therapies and medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Analyze and evaluate patient data, including test findings, to accurately diagnose and assess the nature and extent of mental disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, utilizing electronic medical record systems to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide health education and support to patients and families, participating in the development and delivery of educational programs for healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a residency program in psychiatry.
  • Board eligibility or certification by the American Psychiatric Association.
  • Current licensure in New York State as a psychiatrist.
