Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Identify and assess internal structures, including organs and blood vessels, to detect any abnormalities.
  • Perform a diverse range of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, breast, and obstetric imaging.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
  • Analyze and interpret ultrasound results, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and patient care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including diagnostic codes and examination details.
  • Adhere to infection control standards and maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Provide patient education regarding preparation for procedures and address any inquiries.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in ultrasound imaging, with expertise in general, breast, and abdominal specialties.
  • ARDMS certification and current CPR certification are required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
