Job OverviewHow You'll Make a Difference
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at U.S. Renal Care, you will play a vital role within a collaborative team, working under the guidance of a Charge Nurse while supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in providing care for patients with kidney disease.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care: You will engage directly with patients to deliver safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatments. This includes conducting and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients throughout the process.
Ensuring quality renal care involves performing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
Team Collaboration: You will be an essential member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for all necessary patient assessments and care planning activities.Additionally, you will ensure that staffing requirements are consistently met under the direction of the Administrator and in accordance with state regulations.
Safety & Quality:Under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
You will also participate in mandatory staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.Qualifications
- Current nursing license in the applicable state.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- One or more years of nursing experience preferred.
- Previous experience in dialysis nursing is preferred.
