Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fulfill a travel role, providing care across various locations within a designated radius from your home. This position offers competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement, and the flexibility to manage your schedule without a contractual obligation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles applicable to residents in diverse clinical settings.
- Exhibit proficiency in nursing practices, ensuring adherence to age and population-specific standards in relation to residents' physical and psychosocial needs as outlined in care plans.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents' health status and deliver necessary care.
- Recognize and address problems effectively, responding to emergencies as required.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents while administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and document resident interactions and care outcomes meticulously.
- Foster effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the community.
- Maintain clear communication and uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Counsel residents and their families on prevention and treatment strategies under the guidance of registered nurses or physicians.
- Implement resident education principles to create self-care programs.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
- Must meet specific educational and training requirements for IV therapy/management if applicable.
- Maintain required competencies and certifications, including annual continuing education units (CEUs).
