Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer

ZoomCare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic sonography procedures in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.
  • Provide patient services consistent with the Scope of Practice and Clinical Standards for the Diagnostic Sonographer.
  • Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic sonography procedures.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen (ARDMS ABD) and willingness to obtain OB/GYN registry (ARDMS OB/GYN) within 12 months of hire.
  • State Sonographer licensure, OBMI, required for Oregon.
  • CPR/BLS Certified, or ability to become certified within 60 days of hire.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation.
