Key Responsibilities:

* Operate a wide variety of imaging equipment to obtain examinations of acceptable quality
* Provide DRT/CT services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) White River Junction VA Medical Center (WRJ VAMC)
* Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology, including location, appearance, and functioning of the major and minor systems susceptible to radiographic illumination
* Accurately operate imaging equipment to obtain examinations of acceptable quality
* Perform Fluoroscopic and General Diagnostic exams, Portable Radiography, Portable Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography exams, Angio procedures, and all other duties assigned

Requirements:

* 2 years of experience with the understanding of advanced DRT/CT applications
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
* Ability to accurately operate imaging equipment
* MMR vaccine or titer
* Hep B vaccine or titer
* Varicella vaccine or titer
* TB skin test, bloodwork, or Chest X-ray
* Flu shot
* ACELLULAR PERTUSSIS: Contractors shall provide proof of 1 dose of Tdap vaccination

Working Conditions:

* The contractor will provide one (1) FTEE DRT/CT Technologist to WRJ VAMC
* FTEE is defined by VA as a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks and does not include holidays
* Current tour for DRT/CT night coverage is as 1: 35 hours-Thursday: 8:00pm to 7:00am-Friday: 8:00pm to 8:00am-Saturday: 8:00pm to 8:00amWeek 2: 45 hours-Wednesday: 8:00pm to 6:00am-Thursday: 8:00pm to 7:00am-Friday: 8:00pm to 8:00am-Saturday: 8:00pm to 8:00am

Guaranteed Hours: Contract
