Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with Caleb Brett safety protocols.
  • Execute specified methodologies for various tasks while completing the necessary documentation.
  • Conduct volume and temperature measurements, as well as sampling of materials in various containers and transport vehicles.
  • Perform visual inspections on equipment and transport systems.
  • Complete custody transfer surveys for commodities moved between different transport modes.
  • Carry out routine equipment calibrations and verification checks.
  • Document and communicate results accurately in required formats.
  • Assist and learn from experienced inspectors on the job.
  • Coordinate with terminal, transport, and company personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor supply availability for operational needs and communicate requirements to relevant personnel.
  • Maintain organized and functional work areas and records.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of mathematics and experience in an automated work environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in petroleum inspections is essential.
  • Willingness to work on an on-call basis is required.
  • Must not have a fear of heights.
  • IFIA certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs as necessary.
  • Proficient in volume and temperature measurement, and sampling techniques.
  • Experience in conducting visual inspections and custody transfer surveys.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Adhere to safety practices to ensure personal and team safety.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs arise.
  • Physical capabilities include lifting, walking, standing, reaching, bending, climbing, and driving.
