Railway Operations Specialist

As a Railway Specialist (88U) in the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in overseeing the Army's rail network capabilities and infrastructure assessments. This includes managing host nation or contracted rail assets, conducting car inspections at route stops, and following instructions received from signal towers or other trains.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the Army's rail network infrastructure
- Conduct assessments and inspections of rail assets and infrastructure
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of cargo
- Collaborate with signal towers and other trains to ensure smooth operations
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
- Be between 17 and 34 years old
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- Have no Major Law Violations
- Have no Medical Concerns
