We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Elevance Health. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in the examination and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clinicians in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician.
- Provide front and/or back office support, including greeting patients, checking in patients, and preparing medical records.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record reason for visit.
- Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, reconcile co-payments, and ensure paperwork is complete.
- H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Active, current, and valid Medical Assistant certification.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
