Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Elevance Health. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in the examination and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician.
  • Provide front and/or back office support, including greeting patients and ensuring medical records are up-to-date.
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record reason for visit.
  • Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medication.
  • Oversee patient check-out, scheduling follow-up appointments, and collecting co-payments.
Requirements
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Active, current, and valid Medical Assistant certification.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
