Job Title: Sr. R&D Technologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. R&D Technologist Consultant to join our team at HR Collaboration Group LLC. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth in the baking goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute new product innovations to expand and enhance our product lines.
  • Provide technical support and serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from the sales team and customers.
  • Support the Lead R&D with daily tasks related to creating baking prototypes and conducting bench work in the test kitchen.
  • Lead in the documentation of trials throughout all stages of product development.
  • Prepare samples in the lab and during factory trials to determine new ingredients or ingredient replacement.
  • Perform sensory evaluations and analyze the resulting data to ensure quality and satisfaction goals are met.
  • Submit samples for nutritional and analytical testing to ensure full product goals qualifications are met.
  • Maintain the R&D test kitchen, including managing ingredient inventory and ensuring sanitation and general maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of R&D or Lab work experience within the food industry.
  • Strong research, planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills.
  • Solid data analysis, documentation, and multi-project management skills.
  • Ability to understand processing procedures, fill weights, formula cost implications, sensory analysis, and ingredient lists.
