About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team in Emergency and Critical Care. As an ER/CC Technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors and Criticalists, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Triage incoming patients and manage clients throughout their visit
  • Partner with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
  • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
  • Work collaboratively with on-call boarded surgeons and technicians for emergency surgical cases
Requirements
  • Confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care
  • Strong foundational understanding and ability to perform basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician, including venipuncture, placing IV catheters, drug calculations, and administration of medications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
