Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide safe and effective nursing care to patients, working closely with the healthcare team to promote patient-centered care and advocate for patient safety. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor Licensed Vocational Nurses and Medical Assistants, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and providing patient education.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Lead and mentor Licensed Vocational Nurses and Medical Assistants, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice, including new technologies, treatments, and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas
  • At least one (1) year of experience as an RN in an outpatient clinical setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience working with patients with HIV/AIDS
  • Knowledge of current CDC recommendations for immunizations
