About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Administrator to join our team at LifePoint Health. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate nursing units to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in nursing operations and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Supervise and develop nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to maintain cooperative relationships and effectively communicate with physicians, patients, and families.
  • Manage staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.
  • Assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state compact license).
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience required; 1-3 years of experience in acute care setting preferred.
  • Leadership experience highly preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke, and NRP certifications required within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.
