Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts, with a 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in creating a positive and supportive environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current state RN license and a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience in a similar role, with a preference for those with ASLS certification.
