Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hampton City Schools. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students, staff, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care and routine medical services to students, staff, and faculty.
  • Assess and manage student health needs, including creating and implementing healthcare plans.
  • Coordinate procedures for sending ill or injured students home or to medical treatment facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, and parents to share information and determine appropriate actions.
  • Utilize equipment and professional knowledge for assessments and interventions.
Requirements
  • Virginia Registered Nurse License.
  • Certification in cardiac pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
