Powertrain Electronics Procurement Manager

Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Electronics Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of global supply managers focused on EE, ME, and EM commodities for our Powertrain / High Voltage PCBAs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in procuring powertrain electronics commodities such as power modules, inverters, high voltage PCBAs, magnetics, contactors, passives, connectors, PCBs, and ME enclosures.
You will work closely with engineering and supplier quality to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid's expectations and timeline. Your responsibilities will include creating RFQs, reviewing, analyzing, and clarifying quotations from suppliers, and developing sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical considerations.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in technical/engineering, supply chain, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract manufacturing, or engineering experience on relevant commodity. You will also have a strong understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.
We offer a competitive salary range of $135,975-$199,430 USD, plus additional compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
- Present upward status of objectives, strategies, and remedies to issues
- Collaborate with engineering and supplier quality to identify potential suppliers
- Create RFQs, review, analyze, and clarify quotations from suppliers
- Develop sound sourcing and business recommendations
- Negotiate favorable contracts
- Work with suppliers and engineering to release parts into production
- Manage supplier development and tooling timelines
- Maintain overall supplier relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in technical/engineering, supply chain, finance, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract manufacturing, or engineering experience on relevant commodity
- Strong understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for results, strategy, and hands-on execution
