We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Restaurant Chef to lead our kitchen team at 1 Hotel South Beach. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire food operation, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of local and seasonal ingredients
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service and guest experiences
- Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that reflect our brand's commitment to sustainability and wellness
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff scheduling
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field
- Advanced knowledge of culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
