Clinical Scholar Pathway: Hematology/Oncology Faculty Position

Position Overview: The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Vermont (UVM) and the UVM Medical Center is actively seeking a qualified medical oncologist/hematologist faculty member. This role is positioned within the Clinical Scholar Pathway at the Assistant or Associate level.
Clinical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of clinical duties that include:
- Providing comprehensive care in general oncology and hematology, addressing both benign and malignant conditions.
- Participating in inpatient consult services and managing outpatient clinics at affiliated healthcare facilities.
- Collaborating with the University of Vermont Cancer Center to enhance patient care and contribute to clinical trials.
Additionally, the faculty member will dedicate time to practice at the UVM Cancer Center outpatient clinic, focusing on academic and subspecialty hematology/oncology.
Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Board Eligible or Certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology within the initial two years of appointment.
- Demonstrated interest in teaching and community service.
- Eligibility for licensure in Vermont and New York.
