Job Summary

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Global Security Control Center Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of the Global Security Control Center (GSCC) operators and monitoring and reacting to all natural and man-made events and emergencies affecting all MDA personnel and assets globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the focal point for emergency communications with SOC staffs, Agency Directorates, and host installations as required.
  • Provide initial assessment of all emergencies arising within MDA facilities, immediately establish communications with the SOC, and apprise SOC management of what has occurred, and actions taken.
  • Perform functions as directed by SOC management, the COR, or higher government authority and develop and propose innovative ways to ensure security awareness and an emergency preparedness posture is maintained at the highest possible level.
  • Be responsible for the integration of emergency management processes and procedures, including security checklists and special security instructions, to assist in the execution of emergency actions requiring senior leadership involvement.
  • Be familiar with the MDA Continuity of Operations (COOP) program and, as required, act as directed by the COR or higher government authority to implement the COOP.
  • Under COOP scenarios, serve as an interface between the SOC and MDA management functions.
  • Be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a BS/BA degree in security, law enforcement, or management-related fields.
  • Equivalent education/experience is applicable; 10-12 years' experience with Master's Degree.
  • 10-12 years' experience with bachelor's degree.
  • Ten years' experience in security or law enforcement administrative and substantial operations experience in the armed forces, security, police, or civilian equivalent or related field, three of which is at the supervisory level.
  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience, preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
  • Possess significant background, through either experience and/or education, in basic security guard procedures including supervision policies and procedures.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training manual.
  • Eligible to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Must know a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
