Critical Care Neuroscience Nurse Practitioner

Role Overview
As a Critical Care Neuroscience Registered Nurse at Johnston-Willis Hospital, you will be part of a comprehensive clinical team delivering patient-centered care and engaging in patient and family education. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment, with a focus on critical care neuroscience.
About the Role
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans for patients with complex neurological conditions. This includes utilizing computerized documentation systems to monitor and communicate patient conditions effectively, coordinating discharge planning, and maintaining cultural sensitivity and awareness in all interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A graduate degree in nursing (BSN or MSN) with current registration as a nurse in Virginia or a multistate compact license.
- Preferred: 1 year of critical care experience in an acute care hospital environment, with advanced cardiac life support certification within 30 days of starting.
- Mandatory: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
About Our Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $140,000 per annum, based on experience.
