Key Responsibilities:
  • Energy Needs Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy requirements, providing tailored solar energy solutions that cater to their financial and energy goals.
  • Solar System Design: Collaborate with customers to design customized solar systems that meet their needs, ensuring seamless project execution and optimal results.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, educating customers about the benefits of solar energy and showcasing our products and services.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure customer agreements and close sales, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate effective project handoffs to installation teams, ensuring smooth and timely project execution.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and post-installation support.
  • Industry Updates: Stay updated on the latest solar industry trends, technological advancements, and government incentives to effectively advise customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a Solar Consultant or equivalent role.
  • Performance Metrics: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Solar Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and system components.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial incentives, rebates, and tax credits related to solar energy.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
