Adjunct Faculty Position

St. Edward's University, a nationally recognized, independent Catholic institution, invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses as needed, contributing to the university's commitment to academic excellence and diversity.
Responsibilities:- Teach undergraduate courses in accounting, economics, and finance, utilizing the university's learning management system (Canvas).
- Evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement culturally responsive teaching methods to support a diverse student body.
- Maintain professional standards and adhere to departmental, school, and university policies.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree (with 18 graduate hours in the field of teaching) is required.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, names and contact information for three references, and a statement describing their teaching philosophy and approach to working with undergraduate students. Additionally, a separate document outlining their Mission Integration statement is required.
The Mission Integration statement should address how the candidate's individual differences, life experiences, and unique capabilities will contribute to the university's Holy Cross mission, which emphasizes diversity, inclusivity, and social justice.
