Job Summary:

The Adjunct Faculty, Education Instruction will be responsible for teaching Education Instruction courses to a multicultural student population. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Education or Educational Administration, or a related field, and experience in public education. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to culturally responsive teaching and knowledge of the teaching field.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and teach Education Instruction courses in a variety of instructional strategies appropriate to the needs of community college students.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback reflecting program learning outcomes and departmental expectations.
  • Provide teaching and mentoring services to students in a manner that does not discriminate based on protected categories.
  • Remain current in the field through professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Education or Educational Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in public education.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to culturally responsive teaching and knowledge of the teaching field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual.
