Adjunct Faculty Position in Biological Sciences

About the Position
The Department of Biological Sciences at St. Edward's University is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate courses in biology. This is a part-time, temporary position that is renewable contingent upon need and performance.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more sections of introductory biology lecture and lab courses for majors or non-majors.
- Occasionally, adjunct instructors may be asked to teach a specialized course in their area of expertise.
- Adjunct instructors must be available on campus for one office hour per week per course taught.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree (with 18 graduate hours in Biology) in any area of Biology required.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Successful candidate must complete an employment and/or criminal background check.
