We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Officer II to join our Asset Based Lending team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing credit and loan underwriting expertise to support the loan management process.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze prospective loan transactions and credit worthiness of potential borrowers.
- Work closely with credit analysts to underwrite new and renewed asset based loans, conducting due diligence, financial statement analysis, and collateral evaluation.
- Provide well-supported opinions and balanced recommendations on proposed credit actions and potential risks.
- Contribute to ongoing monitoring, reporting, and analysis of a portfolio of closed asset based loans.
- Validate the credit analysis prepared by credit analysts.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting medium-sized cash flow loans.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Previous experience with asset based lending and familiarity with collateral analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
