Job Title: Data Center Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Sunrise Systems. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure server hardware and network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot hardware and network issues using Linux and Windows command-line tools
  • Perform physical network setup and troubleshooting of Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3 networks
  • Lift and move heavy equipment up to 50lbs, with assistance for items over 50lbs
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and upgraded

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in server hardware and network infrastructure
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CompTIA A+, Server+, and Network+ certifications or equivalent experience
  • CCENT certification or equivalent experience
  • Data center experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience
  • CompTIA Server+ or Network+ equivalent experience
  • CCENT or equivalent experience
  • Data center experience
