Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efforts to ensure the reliability and maintainability of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations.
  • Apply data analysis techniques, including statistical process control, reliability modeling and prediction, root cause analysis, and failure modes and effects analysis.
  • Work with project engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
  • Design and implement maintenance reliability projects, including selecting and managing engineering consultants and contractors.
  • Manage multiple assigned engineering and technical service projects, establishing manpower, budgets, scheduling, equipment, and materials.
  • Control project schedule, costs, and quality via project management skills.
  • Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes value-added preventive maintenance tasks and effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies.
  • Provide input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.
  • Train other personnel on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Work with production, maintenance, and engineering to perform analyses of assets, including asset utilization, equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life, and other parameters that define operating condition, reliability, and costs of assets.
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and technical personnel.
  • Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/design, and make/buy decisions.
  • Participate in plant and enterprise-driven continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, with BSME (Mechanical Engineer) and/or focus in equipment reliability engineering preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience in maintenance and reliability, production management, engineering, or operations experience.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Experience using continuous improvement methodologies to lead RCA and RFCA events.
  • Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and customers.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection, as well as the software associated with them.
