Position Overview

Role Summary

The Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in assisting the Business Development team by crafting and developing visual solutions that effectively convey marketing goals into innovative strategies, both in digital and print formats. This position ensures a cohesive representation of the Firm's brand across diverse media platforms. Collaboration with various departments within the Firm is essential to generate creative solutions that support both domestic and international branding efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Development team and other departments to design high-quality visual materials, including brochures, advertisements, presentations, newsletters, pitch documents, and event-related collateral such as invitations and signage.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to internal and external brand standards and maintain stylistic consistency with the Firm's branding guidelines.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee that all design outputs align with project objectives, specifications, and timelines.
  • Create comprehensive layouts, graphics, and promotional materials utilizing a variety of media.
  • Responsible for capturing photographs of Firm events, attorney portraits, and directing photo shoots as necessary; retouch and enhance images as required.
  • Produce materials for both print and web applications.
  • Coordinate with external printers and suppliers on multiple projects, fostering and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Prepare final layouts and oversee the production process, whether internally or with external vendors.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Strong background in graphic design within a corporate or legal setting.
  • Proven experience in desktop publishing and related software.
  • Excellent aesthetic judgment and understanding of design principles.
  • Solid knowledge of print design techniques and online media.
  • Ability to think creatively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects.
  • Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Highly organized with a strong focus on detail and self-motivation to produce high-quality work.
  • Exceptional proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with both MAC and PC platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Experience with DSLR photography is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML is advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience in a corporate environment.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Compensation Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, education level, and any applicable certifications.
