Job Summary

This position is responsible for transporting participants to and from various locations within the Program Area and beyond, as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate transportation of participants to and from Program Areas, under the direct oversight of the Transportation Coordinator.
  • Carry out transportation plans provided by the Transportation Coordinator, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation.
  • Collaborate with drivers in other Program Areas to maximize funding utilization and participant retention.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss transportation and program issues, and assist with coordinating and facilitating documents required for transportation.
  • Establish and maintain accurate tracking systems for transportation, including efficient driver schedules and participant retention.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a program with the criminal justice population is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid, active driver's license.
  • Possess a level of maturity to deal with sensitive issues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with computers and necessary software.
