Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Job Summary:

The HVAC Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, as well as other mechanical equipment. This includes troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other related equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on other mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and other related systems.
  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning within specifications.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, or related field.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Licensed HVAC technician or journeyman electrician.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Ability to obtain DOD secret security clearance.
