Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on all equipment
  • Perform routine mechanical/electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment
  • Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position
  • Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with 4-6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical/Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright
  • Certificate of Training in a Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Strong computer, math, analytical, and troubleshooting skills required
  • Ability to obtain DOD secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.)
  • Electrician: Must be proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance
  • Current active DOD secret security clearance

Salary Range: $49,900 - $83,100

Salary Range 2: $59,300 - $98,800

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
