Job Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all departmental functions during their shift. Working alongside the management team, the CNC will:
- Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to optimize patient care.
- Engage in continuous assessment of care quality in collaboration with management.
- Promote teamwork and improved outcomes through collaboration with experts and managers.
- Embrace a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.
- Implement nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
- Manage staff scheduling and labor in accordance with patient care needs.
- Oversee inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
