Job Summary:

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a key member of the surgical team, providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative services. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and patient safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective patient care in the perioperative services
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions
  • Implement aseptic technique and maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current nursing license in good standing
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in perioperative services
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting
  • Knowledge of performance improvement ideologies
