Job Summary:
We are seeking a Child Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth. Your responsibilities will include preparing lesson plans, implementing activities, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. You will also engage with parents to understand their child's needs and develop strategies to support their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with state standards and Kiddie Academy's curriculum
* Creating a safe and welcoming environment that fosters curiosity and exploration
* Engaging with parents to understand their child's needs and developing strategies to support their growth
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating with parents regularly
* Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement activities that promote teamwork and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and instruction. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality when necessary. A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred but not required. Additionally, you must be able to lift 40 pounds and meet state requirements for certification or licensure.
