Vermont Veterans' Home Nursing Assistant Position

The Vermont Veterans' Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team. As an LNA, you will provide person-centered, trauma-informed care to residents with a wide range of physical and psychiatric disorders.
Work assignments are performed under the direction of a Licensed Practical Nurse and/or Registered Nurse. In-service training courses are required, and staff are encouraged to pursue continuing education.
This position involves patient care and treatment work at the aide level in a long-term care setting, working an assigned shift. Shift differentials apply to evening and weekend hours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct care to residents with varying degrees of physical and mental illness, dementia, infectious diseases, and severe physical and mental limitations.
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participating in in-service training and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
