Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of School Age Care Site Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing quality, age-appropriate school age care programming and curriculum under the direction of the Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement a developmentally appropriate program in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the SAC program and guidelines.
  • Supervise and monitor children during field trips, indoor and outdoor play, and participate and intervene as necessary.
  • Maintain a supportive, safe environment and ensure the well-being of all children.
  • Supervise youth at the pool or provide students on site with a youth-centered option or class, facilitates youth-led PM class time.
  • Ability to work as a team member and help with the bike fleet.
  • Enforce proper hand washing and sanitizing, and ensure supplies and equipment is sanitized routinely.
  • CPR, First Aid, AED, CPI certified, and Mandated Reporting training.

Requirements:
  • Experience with School Age Care and knowledge of child development necessary; experience with special needs children desirable.
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of flexibility required.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Experience working with children of diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to excel in customer service.
  • Ability to understand and follow data privacy rules and regulations related to students.

Working Conditions:
  • Work is primarily performed in a classroom environment, which typically includes moderate noise from students.
  • Work is often performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions as well.
