Job Responsibilities

">

As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT & CRT) at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Oxford, FL, you will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Evaluating patient needs and recommending treatment plans to ensure optimal care outcomes.">
  • Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.">
  • Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.">
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.">
  • Teaching and counseling patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.">
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.">

Required Qualifications

">

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

">
  • ">
  • An active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.">
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.">
  • Current state licensure is required.">
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).">
