Job Overview

Summary/Objective

The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is tasked with ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting in food preparation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly wash and properly store kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Collect and dispose of waste materials
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas
  • Assist in the preparation of food items
  • Keep track of cleaning supply inventory

Required Skills

  • Maintain a clean kitchen to avoid safety hazards
  • Adhere to established operating procedures
  • Promptly report any incidents or issues

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, warm, and noisy kitchen setting

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
