Job SummaryThe Recreation Intern will rotate and train in all positions of the PCC Pool Complex & Beach Club. The internship program aims to provide students with practical work experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities- Accountable for all training program tasks and project responsibilities as assigned by the Recreation Specialist & F&B Manager.
- Will help manage staff members, including lifeguards, gate attendants, café staff, and bartenders.
- Perform any other job-related duties as requested, including administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, budgeting, and ordering of products.
- Will oversee the organization and implementation of all aquatic programming, including aqua aerobics, swim lessons, special events, and activities.
- Interns will be responsible for planning weekly events and activities and completing one large programming event from beginning to end.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly required to talk or hear; smell or taste. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25-50 pounds.

The employee is often exposed to a moderate noise level (ie. that of a basic business office environment & heavy traffic areas such as kitchen/banquet areas).
